No. We have everything you need. There are several personal items that we recommend to make your experience more enjoyable. You can check out our ‘What To Bring With You’ checklist below.
- Clothing that can get wet
-
-
- Whether or not you plan on getting in the water, wear clothing that can get wet (swimsuits, rash guards, water resistant clothing, etc.)
- Do you burn easily? If so, consider using SPF protective clothing*.
- Also, make sure you’re comfortable. You don’t want to be messing with your clothes while trying to balance on your board!
-
- Water bottle
-
-
- It gets hot out there. Not only do we recommend bringing a water bottle, our favorite trick is putting ice in the bottle to keep your water cool throughout the paddle!
-
- Water shoes
-
-
- Although you can paddle without any shoes, we do recommend bringing along some shoes that can get wet to aid in putting the boards into and getting out of the water because these are often rocky shores. Flip-‐flops will do the trick!
-
- Sunscreen*
-
-
- Early and often!
-
- Hat/Sunglasses/sunglass strap*
-
-
- Sunglasses or hats are highly recommended to make your paddle experience as enjoyable as possible. Since nothing puts a damper on a great day like losing your favorite sunglasses to the depths of Taylorsville Lake, we also recommend investing in a sunglass strap.
-
- Cell phone waterproof case*
-
-
- Our first recommendation would be to leave your cell phones in the car, those facebook status updates can wait! However, we understand that some circumstances don’t allow for that, in which case, we also recommend a waterproof cell phone case to protect your beloved device! This is also recommended for those interested in taking a lot of photos out on the water.
-
- Waterproof watch
-
-
- Although you don’t need a watch on the water (it’s a great opportunity to let go of life’s day‐to‐day distractions) if you want one you will want to make sure it is waterproof!
-
- Snack
-
- A snack is a good idea if you are planning on doing a longer paddle, skipping a meal.
*May be available for purchase on site.

Not necessarily, but it is a possibility! We do recommend wearing clothing that can get wet. Our Basic SUP class is designed for all levels which means it’s totally okay if you would prefer to sit or kneel until you are comfortable standing!
-
We require that children be 10 years of age or older to use their own board. However, kids under the age of 10 can still participate by being on an adult’s board! Children under the age of 12 must wear a lifejacket for the duration of the paddle.
-
Yes! We offer discounts for groups of four or more. We are also happy to accommodate special events, corporate events, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, scout groups, etc. Email megan@endlesssummerpaddle.com for more information!

We do not cancel due to rain, however we will cancel for thunderstorms or unsafe conditions (high winds). We are constantly monitoring the weather and will make the best decision we can within a reasonable amount of time to notify particpants.
In the event we cancel due to weather you will receive a full refund or can be rebooked for a future event with no additional fee.
-
No refunds will be given on cancelled bookings, however as long as cancellations occur 48 hours prior to a booking we can reschedule the booking for a $5 rebooking fee. In the event of inclement weather we will communicate with participants as to whether the class will take place or not. Classes that need to be cancelled due to weather are eligible for a re-booking or a refund with no additional fee.
-
Wear something you’re going to be comfortable in and can move around. Don’t wear anything you don’t want to get wet or dirty, we are outdoors! You can wear swimwear if you’d like, but do dress for the weather! In the early or late paddle seasons, it might be a colder start, so dress accordingly. We recommend clothes that will dry fast when wet as well.
-
We do require life jackets on all of our paddles. We will provide either inflatable pfds or traditional pfds depending on what is available. You are welcome to bring your own.
